[Global Network Report] According to a report by the Japanese entertainment news media "All Things" and "Daliy Sport" under the banner of Kobe News, on the 27th, a member of the Liberal Democratic Party, Raw Rice, will run for the Senate for the first time in the Senate election to be held in July. At the election campaign held on the 26th, the current Liberal Democratic Party senator Eriko Imagawa appeared. Both of them used to be members of a well-known Japanese idol group. Their "same stage" attracted nearly 2,000 people, resulting in a state of near chaos near the event site. Some Japanese netizens saw this scene and expressed their dissatisfaction: "Do you think this is a concert? This is an election that determines our lives! So angry!"

Raw Rice, 54, was once a member of Japan’s iconic Showa-era idol group "Kitten Club", and Imagawa Eriko, 38, was a member of Japan’s iconic Heisei-era idol group "SPEED", according to the website "All Things". Their "same stage" on the 26th attracted nearly 2,000 people. The election campaign, which was held near Kaminomen, Asakusa, was thrown into near chaos. The daily sports magazine described the campaign as a "common stage performance" between the two.
"Mansi" quoted people from the Liberal Democratic Party as saying that they were surprised by such a good effect. The Nikkan Sports magazine quoted relevant sources as revealing that former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe participated in a street rally of raw rice shakers on the 22nd, but the appearance of Eriko Imagawa on the 26th attracted more listeners, "without a doubt the largest number in this election propaganda battle".
Nikkan Sports said that the event on the 26th had a group photo session, and the atmosphere at the scene was like an idol event. Some people who came to cheer enthusiastically shouted "always support you" and so on.
In sharp contrast to the enthusiastic atmosphere at the event, there were many voices of disgust and dissatisfaction on Japanese social media. Some netizens angrily said: "Do you think this is a concert? This is an election that decides our lives! So angry!"
One said directly: "I want to leave Japan. I don’t know what people who vote for such people think. What can they do? What did Eriko Jinchuan do when she was elected to parliament?"
Some criticized: "Don’t [the LDP] feel ashamed to let a former idol without policy ideas become a candidate? To be clear, are you playing the Japanese people for fools?"
Another said sarcastically: "These two are former idols who basically chose’no answer ‘when answering the policy questionnaire, awesome.’ After becoming a candidate, start thinking about [policy] ‘and’will learn [politics] in the future’, this is the line they have said or will say, awesome."
Some Japanese netizens also found that the results of a survey questionnaire for candidates published on the National Broadcasting Association’s (NHK) Senate election website showed that when answering questions such as "whether to support the reduction of consumption tax", Raw Inada basically chose the "no answer" option. According to the latest results displayed on the NHK website on the 28th, out of all 26 questions, Raw Inada chose "no answer" to 21 questions.
Japanese netizens posted screenshots of the NHK website, saying that out of all 26 questions, the raw rice shaker chose "no answer" to 21 questions
